A Facebook Page is NOT a Social Media Strategy

It’s time for us to get real with each other, I’m noticing in more and more conversations when I start to talk strategy I get the response of “oh I have a Facebook page”, feel free to insert whatever network you want there but the reality is having a profile or a page is not a plan!

The statement is usually followed by a lot of questions about why they can’t get clients or opt-ins from their social media efforts. And now it’s time for the tough truth, and that is that you don’t have a plan, you don’t have a strategy, you have tools but no instructions.

In today’s episode I’m sharing exactly why a strategy is KEY, what you can get from it (what it must include) and of course how it all fits into a larger marketing plan. In fact I’m using my own launch of Social Pro as an example.
