I’m seeing a lot of talk in Facebook groups about ditching Facebook pages. That they don’t have any reach, no one is seeing the content, and that people refuse to give any money to greedy Facebook.
Here’s the thing, Facebook, like you, is a business. In business the goal is to make money, and to make money Facebook needs to protect the users and the experience they have on the site. That means prioritizing content that adds value, and separating the serious from the not serious by prioritizing sales content from those willing to invest. So by ditching your page, throwing all in on your group and not investing you’re costing yourself more than you’re costing Facebook.
