We talk a lot about how important building your list is, and we hear about the big mistakes like adding people to a list without permission etc. What we rarely talk about though is things like consistency, personality, and sales in email. These three pieces are critical to see results from your emails.
And wanting results is ok, thinking about the ROI of email is ok. Yes value is critical and we all want to share messages that are going to help our community, but we can also help them with our products and services, and the money is only in the list if we use it wisely.
